COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is part 1 of 2 for the A+ Certification Prep. Part 1 covers the hardware of PCs and helps in establishing IT knowledge for technical support and IT operational roles. Going beyond just PC repair, this course results in technicians who are better prepared to troubleshoot and problem solve as well as understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. CompTIA A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs, regardless of the devices being used.

This course is ideal for those looking to step into a technical support or IT operational role.

CERTIFICATION:

In order to achieve the CompTIA A+ Certification credential, you must pass two exams:

  • CompTIA A+ 220-901 (Hardware)
  • CompTIA A+ 220-902 (Software)

RECERTIFICATION:

Your CompTIA A+ certification is good for three years from the day of your exam.
